He completed his B.Sc(Honours) in Physics from Fathima College,Quilon; M.Sc. in Electronics from S. N. College, Quilon and then B.Ed from S.N. College, Varkala.
Later on he took Ph.D in Physics from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur.
He started his Service to DAV(Dayanand Anglo Vedic) Organization as PGT Teacher in Physics, DAV Jawahar VidyaMandir, Ranchi on 22nd June, 1978.
He was then promoted to Assistant Principal of DAV BASL Vidya Mandir,Patratu in 1982 where he was then promoted as Principal in 1984. Was then the First Principal DAV Centenary Public School, Palamu.
Also served as Principal for many DAV Schools in Andhra Pradesh from June,1986 to May,1991.
On 4th June,1991 he joined as Principal, DAV Public School, Bilaspur(C.G.)
He dedicated an unparalleled service of 31 years to DAV. During this tenure he made substantial contributions as the Founder Principal in establishing DAV Schools in Bihar/Jharkhand zone, A.P. zone and M.P./C.G. zone
He then served as the Regional Director for M.P. and C.G. DAV Schools from December,2010 to March,2011.
As the President of Arya Pradeshic Prathinidi Up-Sabha, C.G., he promoted Vedic Culture amongst students and staff in DAV Public Schools in C.G. for several years.
